Halloween
Halloween was a great success! The day began with a costume parade, for parents, at school - which Max's LOVED! After school he and mommy went to Nana and Papas for dinner and to show off his outfit. Aunt Becky, Uncle Joe, Henry (dressed as Hershey - his dog), Aunt Peggy, Hugh (dressed as the "cow that jumped over the moon"), Anna, Glen and Miles (dressed as the "moon") were also there. He then went "trick or treat"ing with Daddy and the day ended eating candy and passing out chips. Whew! Needless to say there was no trouble getting him to bed tonight!!

A very proud pirate.

Waiting for the parade to begin.

Max and Meredith (pumpkin costume).

And they're off ...

Not quite so organized near the end.

Miles (the moon), Anna and Hugh (the cow that jumped over the moon).

Aunt Becky and Henry (dressed up as Hershey - his dog).

Henry (as Hershey) and Papa.

Two pirates!

Max and neighbourhood children he went "trick or treat"ing with.

Grammy and Yeh-Yeh Visit
My mom and dad visited last week and came bearing a gift from aunt Alice: a cow umbrella from Cows.

Grammy, Yeh-Yeh and Max's band.

Max, Thomas and their pile of toys.

This is Max going to work with his umbrella and his "puter" aka, the keyboard.

Max found this old toy that he used to play with and brought it back upstairs.

Funny face now...

Funny face then...

Max's photo shoot
Sarah here - I have been experimenting with youtube.com and posted my first video! Here is the video of Max's photo shoot from June. We got his pictures taken for Vic's mom's birthday/mother's day as she had given Max the Chinese outfit, you will see in the video, for Chinese New Year. When I left the studio I wasn't sure there was one picture we could use - Max had not stopped moving, cried and I didn't think he had smiled once. The results show how great the photographer was. Her name is Melissa at McCarthy Photography (http://www.mccarthyphotography.ca). Hope you enjoy!

Quiet Thanksgiving Weekend
We had a relatively quiet thanksgiving weekend with no family obligations. Mary and Perry are away for another week and a half on their trip to Turkey.
We had a Maxie day on Saturday which included, dim sum followed by two hours at FunworX. A nap was required after that madness. Next, we were off to the Lyle Hallman swimming pool in Kitchener for an hour and half swim. We then packed up and headed off to Morty's for some wings. To finish off the outing, we went to Waterloo Park to see the animals and to play on all the structures. Needless to say, Max fell asleep on the way home.
On Monday, we took advantage of the global warming trend by going to the beach at the Pinery Provincial Park just south of Grand Bend. Max had a great time playing on the beach and swimming in the shallow water, basking in the sunny 30 degree weather. If this is global warming, I like it.
