We went in to Amsterdam last week on Wednesday. It's about 2 hours train ride each way but the trains are really efficient here and frequent. Amsterdam was crazy busy and just filled with tourists. If you have ever been here you will remember that there are canals everywhere. I don't remember it being this busy when I was here in 1995 but it's quite the contrast between quiet Zutphen.
