Bronkhorst and Verdon
We had a picnic by a small little pond at Bronkhorst, which is the smallest town in Netherlands. It's another medieval town with cobblestone roads. We have been having wonderful weather in the mid to high twenties and sunny every day so far.

I don't know who this guy is that snuck into this shot.

This is the restaurant in Verdon where we had dinner on Sunday night. Speaking of Sunday, most stores in Zutphen are closed on Sunday. Even corner stores are closed on Sundays so if you forget to buy milk, you're pretty much SOL.

We drove around after dinner and found this "castle". It's more like a French chateau than you're classic castle but there is a moat around the building as you can see. Mary and Perry thought this was the town hall but it turned out to be a private residence. Just someone's house. Sure it's nice but the upkeep on it would be costly.

Of course, what's Holland without a windmill?
