Zutphen

Here are some pictures of Zutphen, the town that we are staying in. It's about the same size as Stratford but thousands of years older.

The picture below is what's left of the old city wall. There's even a moat.






The big church in the city centre. You can see this landmark from miles in each direction.


I think this is city hall.






This is us riding our bikes in the country side. The monument is to commemorate the Canadian soldiers that died in this area during World War II. It's hard to imagine fighting and death in this area that is now so peaceful and quiet.
