A trip to Ottawa
We packed up the family and drove up to Ottawa last week. The drive was a little bit easier this time with the help of the newly purchased in-car DVD player. He watched Shrek 2, The Mikado and various Baby Einstein videos. Once we got there, we swam almost every day at amazing pools. Two of the three that we went to had beach entries and hot tubs and the last one we went to had a decent sized slide. We spent the week swimming, and eating and touring various museums in Ottawa and had a personally guided tour of the Parliament buildings by a friend of ours.
Most of these pictures are from the Children's Museum located inside the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau (formerly Hull).
Some drum playing with Gammy and Mommy.

A ride on the camel.

Hanging out with Yeh-Yeh

Playing with the alway popular cardboard box.

Here we put Max's hat on after swimming. It made his hair curly and generally funny looking. Add the lightened hair from the chlorine in the pools, he doesn't look like himself at all.

Driving the bus. I'll have to post the video of him singing while driving.

More fun with drums.

Naptime. I think he likes this stroller.

Here he actually fell asleep with his face in the tray on the stroller. Yes, I did put him into a more comfortable position... after I took the picture.
